The HERNIS EX291 Subsea and Hazardous Area Explosion Proof Fixed Camera is explosion-protected and DNV-type approved, making it suitable for operation in the most demanding hazardous locations. Built to endure vibration, humidity, extreme temperature, and corrosion.
Simple Installation
Its built-in electronics simplify the installation and minimize the need for maintenance. The internal heating eliminates any risk of icing or malfunction due to low temperatures. A single cable is sufficient to transmit data, power, and video, routed directly to the control cabinet, eliminating the need for additional junction box equipment and allowing for ease of installation and configuration.
Hazardous Area Certified
The Explosion Proof Compact Fixed Subsea version of the camera is certified for use in hazardous areas. This EX camera is designed for operation in splash zones and at depths down to 30 meters (IP68 3 bar). The subsea version is delivered complete with vulcanized multicable, eliminating water intrusion and handling the transmission of data, power, and video. Specifically made from high quality stainless steel and scratch-resistant tempered glass, the HERNIS EX291 is an explosion-proof compact camera destined for longevity.
Designed to accept future software upgrades and diagnostics remotely. The reliability of the CCTV camera’s robust features has been proven in thousands of Oil and Gas CCTV installations worldwide.
The Explosion Proof Compact Fixed Camera can be used in combination with an LED (Light) for added visibility.
