The Explosion Proof Continuous Pan PTZ Dome Camera is certified for use in hazardous areas. The customized glass is Electro-Magnetic Compatible (EMC) eliminating the need for extra safety precautions during cleaning. The new model offers 360-degree continuous pan and is tolerant to vibration which makes it well-suited for the offshore and marine environment. The IP rating is 66 and the material is high-quality 316L stainless steel. This hazardous area dome camera can be controlled directly from the control system.

The Explosion Proof Continuous Pan PTZ Dome Camera is delivered in accordance with international standards. Ex certification by DNV to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and IECEx, certified as: EX II 2 G Ex d IIB+H2 T6. Ex certification is also made valid for Russia (TR CU) and Brazil (INMETRO). This Explosion Proof Continuous Pan HD IP dome camera is also designed and tested to meet the DNV requirements for Type Approval Certification.
Through its carefully engineered design, this station is able to endure vibration and other physical forces so devastating to PTZ camera stations. Rated to IP 66 the camera station certifies protection from high-pressure water from any direction, including green sea, guaranteeing no harmful effects.
The dome offers endless panoramic rotation and 180 degrees tilt with vertical image flip. Speed; 116 degrees per second.
Envision the dome being ceiling mounted in a hallway. You want to follow an object moving toward the camera, then moving past it. Without the image flip the object would appear upside down after having passed the camera. This explosion proof, continuous pan, PTZ dome camera will however automatically flip the image once the object has passed for a natural viewing angle. The design optimizes position accuracy and in poor light conditions, the camera will automatically turn to black and white for optimal image quality. Autofocus further increases the user experience.
Internal heating eliminates any risk of icing or malfunction in low temperatures, whereas its high-quality 316L stainless steel exterior provides maximum resilience to environmental exposure and direct sunlight, avoiding heat absorption. The smooth surface is practically maintenance-free.
A single CAT5/6 cable is sufficient to transmit data and power (PoE), routed directly to a data switch or control cabinet, eliminating the need for additional junction box equipment. If PoE is not going to be used, the Ex camera can be supplied with 30VAC or 24VDC. The Ex dome camera can be mounted standing or hanging depending on the viewport required.
