SS310 Stainless Steel Rotator
The Sidus SS310 underwater rotator assembly is designed in a modular configuration and uses high quality precision ball bearings, low backlash gear drives and motors. The high output brushless, synchronous electric motors on this compact rotator can operate reliably even after thousands of cycles.
These deepsea compact rotator units can operate at a depth of up to 10,000 feet / 3,000 meters with internal compensation and up to 20,000 ft / 6000 m with external compensation and are capable of generating impressive amounts of torque. Due to its corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel design which prevents rusting and water ingestion, the SS310 can operate in any type of harsh environment.
Modifications can be made to include feedback circuits and limit switches for applications where rotational information is vital. Optional Position Limits: +/-175° Pan, +/-85° Tilt (other configurations available)
Communication is supported through Analog, RS232, RS422 and RS485 protocols. Users can choose from a range of input connectors.
