Available in 6 MP, the Enhanced Explosion Proof Compact Series camera is purpose-built to monitor operations and control processes in hazardous locations with risks of explosion due to the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. This rugged outdoor camera meets stringent explosion proof and dust ignition proof requirements, while complying with international regulatory standards (UL, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex).
High Resolution Imaging
With its higher resolution, this explosion proof PTZ camera offers enhanced situational awareness over small areas, such as a manufacturing line, a truck shipping dock or inside a silo. Additionally, its AISI 316L stainless steel housing complies with food safety regulations, making the camera highly suitable for food processing plants.
The Enhanced Compact camera provides operators crisp and clear evidence with True Wide Dynamic Range and low-light capabilities for challenging lighting conditions common to hazardous areas.
Perfect Corrosive Environment Solution
This camera is built to survive in the harshest conditions. With an IP69 rating and a wide operating temperature range, it withstands water, high wind, high and low temperatures and resists corrosive elements.
The Enhanced EX fixed compact cameras are easy to install and adaptable to most operational needs and support a range of input power options. The Enhanced Explosion Proof Fixed Series cameras also come standard with wipers and sun shrouds, capturing desired video regardless of the weather.
Image quality is enhanced using a Full HD 1080p camera producing up to 60 images per second. The camera’s image defog capability increases video quality in poor visibility conditions and 3D noise filtering is available.
Flexible Streaming Options
The Enhanced Explosion Proof Fixed Compact Series cameras provide flexible streaming options. The primary stream can be compressed with efficient H.265, H.264 High or Main profiles, or MJPEG formats. It can be configured to a variety of frame rates and variable bit rates to optimize image quality with bandwidth and storage efficiency. Smart Compression is available on both H.264 and H.265, minimizing storage and bandwidth utilization.
