San Diego-based company SIDUS Solutions LLC, founded in 2000 as Sidus Solutions, Inc., remains true to our original founder’s goal of providing the most innovative and robust subsea & hazardous area monitoring products in the industry.  SIDUS Solutions, Inc. was re-established in 2010 to become SIDUS Solutions LLC.  Providing the best of situational awareness, SIDUS brings forward a vast amount of combined experience in subsea and hazardous area video monitoring.

Under the direction of our founder, Leonard Pool, SIDUS has grown from designing primarily subsea pan and tilts and rotators to providing an extensive product line of underwater positioners, high definition cameras, penetrating bright lights, projection lasers, and inspection systems, as well as an array of engineering services. While the SIDUS-designed and -manufactured product line focuses on subsea applications, our highly skilled engineering team provides topside design and installation for industrial and hazardous areas.

SIDUS is proud of its involvement in the local San Diego community. Leonard Pool is an active member of the Marine Technology Society (MTS) San Diego chapter, having received the Ten Year Award for ten years of participation in the MTS Summer Internship Program. Pool assists with many charitable events for the homeless, and every year the Pool Family participates in a clothing drive for the KIVA Learning Center for Women and Children in Lemon Grove, CA. In 2014, the Pool Family was recognized by the Ocean Beach Main Street Association for SIDUS’ donation of security cameras to the Ocean Beach area, increasing public safety for residents and visitors in the OB Pier area.
